Wow, what a weekend for Newcastle United and the city as a whole. After 70 years without a domestic trophy, the team beat Liverpool FC at Wembley to win the EFL Cup 2025! We couldn't NOT release a beer commemorating this special moment...
Though not strictly a special, the beer is our Tyneside Brown (a brown ale actually brewed in Newcastle!) which is rarely available in cask. If you've been following our current series of specials, you'll notice they all have a similar naming convention "They Used To ... Here), paying tribute to our region's industries that are sadly no longer around. We thought it'd be nice to embrace the positivity and joy of this occasion to break up the mournful nature of the series, and to celebrate the achievements of the city on the football pitch.
